STAMFORD TYRES PRIVACY POLICY (SINGAPORE)
This Privacy Policy describes how we, Stamford Tyres Group, process your Personal Data in connection with the Platform.
By using the Platform, which includes creating an account and accessing the Website or Mobile Application, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not consent, do not access or use the Platform.
1. ABOUT US & DPO CONTACT DETAILS
This Privacy Policy only applies to access and use of the Platform in Singapore and it applies together with the Terms of Use.
Stamford Tyres Group comprises various entities across the world. When this Privacy Policy mentions “Stamford Tyres”, “we”, “us” or “our”, we are referring to the relevant company within Stamford Tyres Group which is responsible for processing your Personal Data.
Any capitalised terms used in this Privacy Policy, such as “Website”, “Mobile Application” and “Platform”, have the same meaning as per the Terms of Use for the Platform unless another definition is provided in this Privacy Policy.

2. PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT
“Personal Data” refers to any data from which an individual can be identified, either from that data alone or from that data together with other information to which we have or are likely to have access.
In connection with the Platform, we may collect and use the following categories of data from you, which may constitute Personal Data.
Additionally, you may also provide Personal Data of other individuals to us in some circumstances and if you do so, you warrant that you have obtained their consent for their Personal Data to be collected, used and disclosed in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

3. HOW WE USE PERSONAL DATA
We only use and disclose Personal Data as permitted by the laws of Singapore and, where required, with your consent.
We may use your Personal Data for the following purposes:
(a) To facilitate your access to and use of the Platform, including but not limited to:
i. Creating your account on the Platform;
ii. Identification, due diligence and know-your-customer purposes;
iii. Maintaining and managing our relationship with you (e.g. notifying you of changes to the Terms of Use or this Privacy Policy);
iv. Processing of orders and service bookings through the Platform, including any orders for products and/or services from third party vendors;
v. Delivering products purchased through the Platform, which may also involve sharing your Personal Data to a third party (e.g. logistics partner) or relevant government authority (e.g. customs) where necessary to facilitate delivery to you;
vi. Providing customer support (e.g. troubleshooting issues with the Website or Mobile Application, responding to questions or feedback about products or services, etc.);
vii. Facilitating payment, which may also involve sharing your Personal Data to a third party (e.g. payment services gateway provider) where necessary to process payment transactions.
(b) To administer loyalty, membership, rewards and other similar programmes, including but not limited to our tiered membership programme and birthday privileges;
(c) To administer events, such as roadshows and trade promotions;
(d) To administer and protect the integrity of our business and the Platform, the security of the Website and Mobile Application, including but not limited to:
i. Ensuring network security;
ii. Preventing or investigating any actual or suspected breaches of the Terms of Use or Privacy Policy, illegal activity, fraud, or other misconduct.
(e) To use data analytics to improve the Platform, our products and/or services and the customer experience, including but not limited to:
i. Tracking of visitor demographics, behaviour, activity and usage of the Platform;
ii. Conducting user surveys and research;
iii. Understanding user preferences and usage in order to provide users with targeted or relevant information on the Platform;
iv. Improving and developing the Platform, our products and/or services.
(f) To improve and develop the Platform, our
products and/or services generally;
(g) For marketing, promotion and advertising purposes, including but not limited to:
i. Sending you information about the Platform, our business, products and/or services which we believe may be useful or relevant for you;
ii. Notifying you of events, trade promotions and discounts.
(h) For auditing of the Platform or the business of the Stamford Tyres Group;
(i) In connection with any proposed transfer, purchase, merger and/or acquisition of all or any part of the business of the Stamford Tyres Group;
(j) For investigation of any actual or potential breaches of the Terms of Use or Privacy Policy;
(k) Any other purpose to which you have consented;
(l) Any other purposes which are permitted by law;
(m) To comply with any legal requirements or requests from government authorities; and
(n) Any other purposes which are incidental or related to the above.
4. MARKETING, PROMOTION AND ADVERTISING COMMUNICATIONS
If you have consented to us sending you marketing, promotion or advertising communications and provided us with your email address, mobile phone number or other contact details, we may send you such communications based on your indicated preference(s) (e.g. by email, SMS, WhatsApp, etc.).
You can choose not to receive such communications at any time, by indicating your preferences in your account settings page.
If you download the Mobile Application, such communications may include push notifications and other similar modes of notification on your mobile device. You can choose not to receive such communications at any time, by disabling such features in your
mobile device settings or the Mobile Application preference page, as may be applicable.
5. DISCLOSURES AND TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL DATA
We may disclose and/or transfer Personal Data as follows, in connection with the purposes in Section 3:
(a) Internally within the Stamford Tyres Group;
(b) To Singapore-based third party services providers and/or vendors; and/or
(c) Internationally to third party services providers and/or vendors located outside Singapore.
The third parties in (b) and (c) include, but are not limited to our logistics partners, payment services providers, advertising or marketing partners, data centre providers, and/or external vendors. Some of these third parties may require you to accept, or subject your access and use of their services to, their terms and conditions (e.g. terms of use, privacy policy). You are strongly encouraged to read the terms and conditions of these third party services providers.
We will not disclose or transfer your Personal Data outside Singapore except to jurisdictions which have data protection laws which offer at minimum an equivalent level of protection to Singapore law, or we will use tools to ensure that your Personal Data will be given the aforesaid level of protection (e.g. via contractual protections).
We may also disclose and/or transfer personal data to a third party to whom we may choose to sell, transfer or merge parts of or all of our business and/or assets; or if we choose to acquire or merge with other businesses. The new owners of our business may use your personal data in the same way as set out in this Privacy Policy.
We do not, and do not under any circumstances permit third parties to monetise your Personal Data.
6. COOKIES
We use cookies or other similar technologies on the Platform. These are small text files that we store on your browser or on your device. These enable us to recognise a particular browser or device, collect data for the purposes outlined in Section 3 (particularly Section 3(d)) and also facilitate the performance of some functions of the Platform.
You may manage and learn more about cookies on the Website by interacting with the cookie prompt on the Website. However, if you disable certain cookies which are required for certain functions of the Platform, the availability of certain services or functions on the Platform may be adversely affected.
7. DATA SECURITY
We have implemented security measures to protect Personal Data from accidental loss and unauthorised access or use. Additionally, access and use of your Personal Data is limited to our employees, agents, contractors and third parties on a need-to-know basis and subject to confidentiality obligations.
Nevertheless, you must also implement reasonable security measures and practices to prevent accidental loss and unauthorised access to or use of your Personal Data, including the mandatory measures described in the Terms of Use and:
(a) Use a strong and unique password;
(b) Never share your password with anyone, including anyone from Stamford Tyres Group;
(c) Implement good practices to prevent accidental discovery of your password by unauthorised parties (e.g., do not write your password down and leave it where others can view it);
(d) Limit access to your devices and browsers you use to access your account;
(e) Log out once you have finished using the Platform, especially if you are on a shared device.
8. RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes in Section 3, for any purposes permitted by law, and for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or reporting requirements.
9. ACCESS & CORRECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
If you have an account on the Platform, you can access and/or correct your Personal Data currently in our possession or control through the account settings page.
If you do not have an account with us, or if you wish to access and/or correct your Personal Data that is not available through the account settings page (if any), you may request for access to and/or correction of your Personal Data that is within our possession or control by sending an email to us at dpo@stamfordtyres.com:
(a) In order to process your request, we may require you to provide additional information about your request, to verify your identity and entitlement to exercise access to or correct your Personal Data;
(b) We may charge a reasonable fee before we agree to process your request;
(c) We may refuse your request if it is unfounded, repetitive or excessive, if you refuse to pay the fee, or where we are otherwise permitted to do so by law;
(d) We will inform you within thirty (30) days of the time it will take to process your request.
10. WITHDRAWING CONSENT TO COLLECTION, USE AND/OR DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA
Where we rely on consent to collect, use and/or disclose your Personal Data, you can withdraw your consent at any time by sending an email to us at dpo@stamfordtyres.com:
(a) In order to process your request, we may require you to provide additional information about your request, to verify your identity and entitlement to withdraw consent;
(b) We typically process consent withdrawal requests within ten (10) business days. We will notify you if there are any delays or additional time required.
Please be aware that withdrawing your consent may mean that we may be unable to continue providing the Platform or any part of its services to you and we may need to terminate your account, membership and/or other relationship with us.
11. PERSONAL DATA OF PERSON(S) UNDER AGE 18
The Platform is not intended for person(s) under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect, use or disclose any data from any such person(s). However, it is impossible to identify the age of all person(s) who access or use the Platform. Parent(s) and
guardian(s) must be responsible for the Internet activity of person(s) under age 18 and if you become aware that any such person has accessed, used or submitted Personal Data to the Platform or to us, please inform us immediately so that we may take the necessary action (e.g. closure of accounts, deletion of Personal Data, etc.).
12. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may make changes to this Privacy Policy at our discretion. You will be notified of the amended Privacy Policy via the email address associated with your account and the amended Privacy Policy will be posted to the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes your acceptance of the Privacy Policy as amended.
13. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES
While using or interacting with the Platform, you may come across links to third party websites. If you click on or follow any of those links, please be aware that third party websites have their own privacy policies and Stamford Tyres Group has no responsibility or liability for those policies. It is your responsibility to check those policies before using or submitting any data to any of those websites.
